Workshop: "Elliptic integrable systems, isomonodromy problems, and hypergeometric functions"
This is a satellite meeting to the 5th European Congress of Mathematics.
The dates: 21-25 July, 2008 (the arrival day 20 July).
The sessions will take place at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics
Topics:
- Elliptic completely integrable systems
- Elliptic Painleve equation
- Elliptic hypergeometric functions
- Univariate and multivariate elliptic biorthogonal functions
- Elliptic determinants and theta functions on root systems
Expected number of participants: around 35.

Pending availability of funds, we plan to support a small number of young participants or participants from remote regions.
People willing to participate in this workshop are requested to fill the Registration Form before 20 March 2008. Information about the acceptance of talks and availability of financial support will be announced by 1 May, 2008.

Arrivals at (Köln)Cologne/Bonn airport
The Airport Express Bus Nr. 670 shuttles to Bonn city on a regular 30 minute schedule. Disembark at the Bonn Central Train Station. A one-way ticket costs € 6,30. If you plan to return to the airport with the Express, you can buy a round-trip ticket for reimbursement on Tuesday. The bus stop is at the side entrance of Terminal 2. After your arrival in Bonn
From the Bonn central train station to Hotel Europa: it is a walk of approximately 5-7 minutes or a 2 minute tram ride with Nr. 61 in direction Auerberg (get off at Stadthaus/Berliner Platz). See map.
From the Bonn central train station to Hotel Krug: it is a 15-20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride on bus lines 620, 624, 625 or 627 to Poppelsdorfer Platz. See map.
